Gabriella Giffords shot yesterday…
All the hate speech, hit lists, vitriol… from Palin, the Tea Party, radio “personalities,” … how about some responsibility for these “fighting words” unleashed on susceptible ingoramuses? (ignorami?) There’s a reason they’re called “fighting words” and there’s a reason “fighting words” are not constitutionally protected free speech…
“Possible” factor? I haven’t forgotten that Wellstone was #1 on the Bush/Rove “hit list” or that the NRA targeted Minnesota candidates in mailers and labeled them “dead.”
